DARRELLE REVIS ENDS HOLDOUT AGREES TO DEAL WITH JETS!
Darrelle Revis and the New York Jetsagreed to a new contract Sunday night, ending the All-Pro cornerback's holdout a week before the season opener.
The team announced the agreement in principle early Monday morning, but released no contract terms. Revis was flying from his home in South Florida to New Jersey on Monday, and meeting with the team, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press. The person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the negotiations were supposed to remain confidential, said it's a short-term deal with guaranteed money - a sticking point in the negotiations - but the exact terms were not immediately available. The contract could be signed as early as Monday, getting Revis back on the field in time for the opener next Monday night against Baltimore at home. Revis, who made no public statements about the negotiations since minicamp in June, used his Twitter account to thank his family and agents, Neil Schwartz and Jonathan Feinsod. "To my family, neil, & john I love u guys I'm comin home baby!!!" Revis wrote. "Revis Island LET'S GO." Both owner Woody Johnson and coach Rex Ryan met with Revis over the weekend to try to help get a deal done, the person told the AP. Ryan's inclusion in the meeting was first reported by the Daily News on Sunday night. Ryan was scheduled to have a conference call with reporters Saturday night to discuss the Jets' roster cutdown, but a team spokesman said Ryan was unavailable because he was at an "appointment." That turned out to be a visit with the man whom Ryan has repeatedly called the best cornerback in the NFL.

The former "Baywatch" beauty, who hit the headlines in the 1990s after filming a sex tape with her then-husband Tommy Lee, has agreed to be filmed frolicking in bed with the winner of phone firm Nokia's latest competition.
The short movie, called "The Commuter," is to be shot in high definition on the company's N8 mobile handset and premiered in London next month.
Another cameo role opposite "Gossip Girl" actor Ed Westwick, to be shot in an elevator, is up for grabs in the contest.

Lady Gaga is an icon who’s ever move is followed and copied – but we hope that little girls aren’t aping her desire to be thin! The pop star’s former tour manager, David Ciemny, claims that she has a severe eating disorder that placed her in the hospital SIX TIMES last year!
“When I say she was sick, I mean physically and mentally,” David says in his new tell-all book Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga. He describes being on tour with Gaga as a sick experience, saying she binged on sweets and other unhealthy foods and then would stop eating for weeks on end to fit into her body-baring stage costumes. He even claims that the 24-year-old singer once lost 20 pounds between dress fittings! Crazy – but is it true? Unfortunately, it just might be. “It’s all about starvation! Pop stars don’t eat,” she told US Weekly back in 2009. During her interview with Cosmopolitan magazine in 2010, the singer ordered only dressingless salad and riceless sushi. Yuck.
