Larry Hagman, who's well known for his antagonist role as a cunning oil baron J.R. Ewing in 1980s classic soap opera "Dallas" that continued in a 2012 version, has passed away in a Dallas hospital after losing his courageous battle against cancer. He was 81. "Larry was back in his beloved Dallas, re-enacting the iconic role he loved most," the family said in a statement. "Larry's family and close friends had joined him in Dallas for the Thanksgiving holiday. When he passed, he was surrounded by loved ones. It was a peaceful passing, just as he had wished for. The family requests privacy at this time." Larry's co-stars Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy, who played his on-screen wife Sue Ellen and on-screen brother Bobby respectively, were at his bedside when he passed away. "Linda was with him," confirmed her agent Jeffrey Lane. "They had been friends for 35 years and they had worked together for many years so obviously it is devastating. She called and told me. She sounded very sad." Releasing her own statement, Linda said as quoted by The Sun, "Larry Hagman was my best friend for 35 years. He was the Pied Piper of life and brought joy to everyone who knew him. He was creative, generous, funny, loving and talented. I'll miss him enormously." Larry, who used to be a heavy smoker when he was younger, was battling alcohol problems during his life. He underwent a life-saving liver transplant in 1995 and revealed that he had stage 2 throat cancer in 2011. He is survived by his wife Maj Axelsson who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in 2008, and two grown-up children, daughter Kristina Hagman and son Preston Hagman, and five granddaughters.

For the FIRST TIME EVER, Reebok Classics is bringing back a true Classic in every sense of the word – the ES22. This long-awaited first re-release will exclusively hit Foot Locker on Wednesday, November 21st for a suggested retail price of $140. The shoe that helped earn Emmitt Smith a Rookie of the Year award, 4 Rushing Titles, 3 Super Bowl wins, 8 Pro Bowl wins, and a Super Bowl MVP award, will debut in its original colorways Club Blue/White and Black/White. Celeb fans of the Reebok Classic ES22 include Tyga, Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz, Maurice Jones-Drew, Roddy White, Jamaal Charles, DeMarcus Ware and more. This is a limited drop, so when they’re gone, they’re gone.
After dropping some real raps in his first #Offering to fans, his “Cough Up A Lung (New York Freestyle)”, Game’s latest #Sunday Service track is a big, ignorant strip-club anthem. The NSFW visuals for the new single, which you’d expect to see helmed by Tyga, Rick Ross or Wayne, show the L.A rapper sipping on Ciroc and enjoying the lapdance of his life, but he doesn’t sound at home musically. Over the beat, an “I’m On One/My Type of Party” cast-off, his attempt to switch up styles and flows never gets going. The guests sound more comfortable. Whilst Jeezy‘s verse is generic fare and Future‘s contribution to the hook might grate on many listeners, they at least know what they’re doing on this kind of cut, and I think the latter’s verse takes it by virtue of its sheer effortlessness

Ludacris is back with a visual for his upbeat track featuring Usher and David Guetta, “Rest Of My Life” and like the song itself, he decides to move away from the norm and offer up a fresh new style of video. Gone are the scantily clad women and the ‘in your face’ comedy antics, and in their place are euphoric shots of scenery, including clouds, lakes and sunsets. For most of the video, Ludacris is seen stood on a smoke covered airport runway and motivational images also flash across the screen, in keeping with the feel good message of the song. Although Ludacris and Usher are no strangers to working together, “Rest Of My Life” is the first time Usher has officially featured on a Ludacris track and the Atlanta natives look extremely happy to have joined forces once more in the video, as they are seen hugging and joking around. I have to admit, being a Ludacris fan circa Red Light District, I am not too keen on this record. However, it’s nice to see the rapper make a refreshingly different video like this, without his usual hip-hop honeys.

50 Cent‘s latest video, for the single “Money” off of his mixtape 5 (Murder By Numbers), features him engaged in two familiar activities; counting an absurd amount of money and lounging around in the presence of numerous attractive women. While this production might not be the most big-budget or elaborate of affairs, it certainly gets the point across. Curtis is back to being the bloodthirsty rapper who rose to prominence over a decade ago, focusing on money by any means, and Havoc‘s production is reminiscent of the 50 Cent who first rose to prominence over a decade ago with Get Rich Or Die Tryin. 50′s new album Street King Immortal is still slated to drop in early 2013 through Aftermath/Interscope/Shady Records.
