One of the best qualities Ice Cube possesses as a rapper is his ability to get in the face of his listeners. His best albums have shown he prefers to provoke than to shy away from the big issues, and if new single and title track ”Everythang’s Corrupt” is anything to go by, his forthcoming album (his 10th) will do exactly that. With the presidential election just around the corner, Ice Cube decides to drop a video exposing the widespread ills of American politics and society. Whilst he rants over a sample of Betty Wright’s 1968 classic “Girls Can’t Do What The Guys Do”, a relentless barrage of recent news clips hammers home his message- that no-one is safe from institutional and individual corruption. The faces that flash on screen encompass everyone from sportsmen whose careers were built on lies, to bankers whose careers were built on greed, playing out like a sort of modern Dante’s “Inferno” , before the clip explodes into natural disasters, mass protest and police repression.

DJ CARISMA x INFERNO - THE SESSION

With her reputation as a former porn star, Sasha Grey cannot freely spend time with kids without being judged. The 23-year-old, who has not done porn in two years, read books to children at Emerson Elementary School in Los Angeles, inviting protests from the first and third graders' parents.
Grey was invited to read a story as part of Read Across America program. TMZ reported that parents are angry and the school district chose to deny it instead of confirming. "We have several celebrities who read to our students each year. The actress you have indicated [Sasha] was not present," the rep said.
But the evidence speaks louder. On November 3 Grey tweeted, "Spent the am with Read Across America Compton, reading to the sweetest 1st & 3rd grade students @ Emerson Elementary!" A picture of her inside the class also emerged.
Grey is in the mainstream now with her acting credit in HBO's "Entourage" and all. She has scored a role in "Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story".

Lindsay Lohan is officially too hot for "Inferno."
The film's director, Matthew Wilder, told E! News that after months of standing by the troubled starlet, he has decided to drop Lohan from the project. "We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan," he said. "We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working out the legalities of bringing her onboard." The director explained that the inability to insure Lohan played a factor in the decision to continue the production without the embattled actress. "We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support," Wilder said. "Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her — and some other issues — have made it impossible for us to go forward." Lohan's replacement is expected to be announced on Monday. Although Wilder has publicly supported Lohan through her legal drama and substance abuse issues, and maintained he will strive to accommodate the actress, the director recently hinted that the production may have to ditch the star. "You know we have been through a lot with this project, and although she is still our number one choice — we do have a Plan B if she cannot film 'Inferno,' " Wilder told Radar Online. The director also added that he had been communicating with other actresses who were interested in the role. Questions about whether the starlet could complete the movie have dogged the project throughout Lohan's eventful year, which has included two prison bids for violating her probation. Filming was set to begin in November butLohan was ordered to remain in rehab until January. While Wilder has previously admitted his frustration with the actress' situation, he has also maintained that Lohan's talent was worth sticking by the star.
"I understand people's exasperation," he told MTV News in September. "I share it. But there is a tremendous gift underneath all the obvious baggage."
