AMERICAN PIE 4 AND CLASH OF THE TITANS 2 PLOTS REVEALED!

Universal Pictures has recently announced they are making a new "American Pie" movie titled "American Reunion", and now new details of the upcoming project have surfaced. Brought to surface by What's Playing, the possible plot details reveal that [SPOILER ALERT!] the whole gang are returning to East Great Falls for their ten-year high school reunion.

Chris Klein's Oz is a big shot with a Malibu mansion. His girlfriend Mia, who seems to be a gold-digger, decides to join him at the reunion. Meanwhile, his ex-girlfriend Heather (Mena Suvari) brings with her to the town her new boyfriend, a forty-something surgeon, who tries to act younger.

Seann William Scott's Stifler isn't doing well. He is working as a temp for a rude boss that refers to him as 'his bitch', and isn't lucky with the ladies as well. He's supposed to be working the weekend of the reunion and attempts to keep up the ruse throughout the movie.

Upon returning home, Stifler scores with Laurie, a former hottie who now is 80 pounds heavier. Stifler's mom, portrayed by Jennifer Coolidge, will be making an appearance in the upcoming movie.

Jason Biggs' Jim is still married to Alyson Hannigan's Michelle. His fidelity is tempted as his next-door neighbor Kara has a crush on him. Kara's long-term boyfriend Marco isn't happy about it. Meanwhile, Jim's sex tape with Shannon Elizabeth's Nadia has gone viral on YouTubehttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif.

As for Eddie Kaye Thomas' Finch, he is now an "international traveler" and will score with Trisha, a bartender who used to go to band camp with Michelle.

To sum up, the story will see the gang remembering the good times, only to be faced with the frightening realization that they're no longer young teenagers. What's Playing claims the movie has "a very funny storyline."

In addition to Seann William Scott and Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy has signed up to reprise his role in "American Pie". More original cast of the "American Pie" movie series like Thomas Ian Nicholas and Tara Reid are expected to return as well.

Previous report says the project would start production this March. "Harold & Kumar" scribes, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, write and direct the upcoming fourth installment of the comedy series which has not got a release date.

Plot of "Untitled Clash of the Titans Sequel" has been released. After announcing the release date of the forthcoming film, Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have shared its official plot on Wednesday, March 23.

Some original cast of "Clash of the Titans" are back for the follow-up.Sam Worthington
will reprise his role as Perseus, Liam Neeson will return as Zeus, and Ralph Fiennes will play Hades once again. However,Gemma Arterton possibly will not return to star as Io because her name is not mentioned in the released plot. She is allegedly committed to "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" which will be shot in Germany.

The official storyline says, a decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus, the demigod son of Zeus, is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole
parent to his 10-year old son, Helius.

Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos,
father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.

Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramirez), switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger as Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth.

Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

"Clash of the Titans 2", which has been referred to as "Wrath of the Titans", is directed by Jonathan Liebesman and has started shooting this week. The movie is set for spring release, on March 30, 2012 to be exact, almost two years after the first film's release on April 2, 2010.

A new "American Pie" movie is on the way, and it will be a reunion for the original cast. Universal Pictures has tapped Seann William Scott, Jason Biggs andEugene Levy to reprise their roles in the upcoming installment called "American Reunion".

Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid,Chris Klein, Mena Suvari andJennifer Coolidge are in negotiations to return to the fourth film as well. Moreover, Universal confirms that they plan to bring back all of the original "American Pie" cast.

The movie is reportedly scheduled to start shooting on March 24. Scott, who has one of the key roles, just checked himself into rehab earlier this week, but an insider tells TheWrap that his stint is not expected to affect the production.

Comic Spotlight: Venom #1

This time around, Venom wants to do a lot more than just eat your brains.

Venom #1 hit stores this past Wednesday, and it hit with impact. This is a new series for Marvel’s sinister spider-copy, where the mold is finally broken from being just an evil version of the wall crawler. This time around, the Venom symbiote suit is worn by former US Army Corporal, Eugene “Flash” Thompson; yes, THAT Flash Thompson. The lifetime Spider-Man fan/bully of the high school Peter Parker is now in control of Venom as a black ops operative for the government. The book does something I always wanted from Venom book; it instills fear. Though Venom’s look is now of a trimmed down agent, his close call transformations into the hulking monster really add to the story, as does the way the suit is used as a short-term weapon rather than a villain of the month.

Written by Rick Remender (writer of Sea of Red, Uncanny X-Force and the recent video game Bulletstorm) is a perfect fit for this book. Remender knows how to portray frightening scenes, as he does from page one in this book. Art is courtesy of Tony Moore, of Walking Dead fame and longtime collaborator with Remender. Moore’s artwork couldn’t fit this book better; the violence shown is stark and holds nothing back. THIS is the Venom book fans have been wanting since day one. Make sure you scoop this up while you can! For more information on Venom, visit Marvel Comics at www.marvel.com.

KABOOM! MAGAZINE 2010 TV & MOVIES AWARDS!

Kaboom! 2010 TV Show and Movie Awards

Kaboom! Magazine picks the best of the best from television and movies for 2010.

TV Shows

Drama of the Year

Parenthood: Even though it one of the only true family shows on the air, it’s still pretty damn good. The show revolves around the Braverman family, three generations, featuring grandparents  Zeek Braverman and Camille Braverman, their oldest son Adam and his wife, daughter and son, their daughter Sarah and her two kids, their second son Crosby, his ex-girlfriend Jasmine and their young son Jabbar, and finally their daughter Julia Braverman-Graham and her stay-at-home husband and young daughter. What makes the show so great is that it deals with family issues that every family deals with as well young adult/children issues that way families can watch the show together. Every single casting choice is pitch perfect, and creates a wonderful chemistry on the screen.

Comedy of the Year

Modern Family: Viewers got to see the fruit of that labor in 2010, as relationships started to live and breathe on their own. With so much groundwork laid in the series’ Emmy-winning first season, the currently aired second season has been able to relax into a rhythm that’s just as likely to explore the dynamics within each household as those between them. Even as the three linked families at the show’s center live their separate lives, they deal with the same challenge: how to stay connected with the people you love, even as distractions—dog butlers, cell phones, earthquakes, and cute boys—abound.

Crime Drama of the Year

Hawaii 5-0: In a world loaded with CSI and Law and Order shows, Hawaii 5-0 has managed to top them all and create its own identity. TV remakes are always a tricky proposition, but CBS found a way to make this one work. Although there's plenty of "Book 'em, Danno" corniness, this action-packed crime drama isn't exactly like the old 1979 show. What really makes this show tick is the chemistry between Alex O'Loughlin's character McGarrett and Danno, played perfectly by Scott Caan. If that wasn’t enough, there’s always the sight of Grace Park kicking ass in sexy swimwear.

Reality Show of the Year

Basketball Wives: Created by Shaunie O’Neal, the ex-wife of NBA center Shaquille O’Neal, the series follows the lives of a group of women who have in some way been romantically linked to professional basketball players. Ever since the show aired in 2010 the internet has been swarmed with all types of news and controversy between the women on the show and NBA players. At the Basketball Wives Reunion guest host Tanika Ray helps Evelyn, Jennifer, Royce, Suzie, and Shaunie reminisce through the season but when Sandra, the groupie, comes out not even Tanika can hold the girls down. Suzie throws water on Sandra and pushes her off the stage. Suzie was arrested on the set of the season 1 reunion special after throwing the bucket of water on Sandra. Real World Alum Tami Roman joined the cast in season 2 and the episodes have been extended from 30 minutes to an hour.

New Show of the Year

Boardwalk Empire: Few shows can live up to the kind of expectations of a Boardwalk Empire’s. Terence Winter’s portrait of 1920s Atlantic City has its own unique charms, plus a bevy of astonishing performances. Through the eyes of Jersey power broker Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) and young gun Jimmy Darmody (Michael Pitt), Boardwalk Empire follows the birth of modern organized crime while keeping a tight focus on its sprawling ensemble, ranging from assorted bit players to better-known names, including a young Al Capone (Stephen Graham). A contemplative tone soured some viewers’ interest, although bursts of violence and stunning setpieces kept the pace from getting too glacial. As the season wound to a close, the many plot strands began to wind together in a manner reminiscent of the last show Winter worked on………The Sopranos.

Show of the Year

Friday Night Lights: Never a highly rated show, Friday Night Lights enjoyed an unusual extended life, thanks to a deal between NBC and DirecTV. It used those extra years to reach beyond merely being one of television’s best shows, and became cult classic. Since shifting the focus to East Dillon, the school on the wrong side of the tracks in its fictional Texas town, Friday Night Lights has dealt with race, economic divides, and abortion, all with the same family first characteristic that the show started with. The show’s fourth season—some of which aired on DirecTV in 2009—could stand up proudly next to its justly revered first season, even with the difficult task of introducing a handful of new cast members to replace graduating seniors. Its in-progress fifth season, which will be its last, shows no sign of faltering.

Breakout Star of the Year (Actress)

Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars): The child star Hale is now best known for her grown up role as Aria Montgomery on the ABC Family series “Pretty Little Liars. Hale won a 2010 Teen Choice Award ("Choice Summer TV Star: Female") for her portrayal of Aria on the show. Hale also guest-starred on the “CSI: Miami and was casted in “Scream 4. “Pretty Little Liars” will be back with 12 new episodes in Jan. 2011 and “Scream 4” is schedule to be release April 2011.

Breakout Star of the Year (Actor)

Michael B. Jordan (Friday Night Lights): In 2010 Michael guest-starred in the “Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode "Inhumane Society" as a boxer involved in a Michael Vick-inspired dogfighting scandal. He is currently starring in his breakout role on the NBC show “Friday Night Lights as quarterback Vince Howard. He can also be seen as Alex (Haddie's love interest) on the NBC show “Parenthood”. Michael was considered one of the 55 faces of the future by Nylon Magazine's Young Hollywood Issue.

Best Actress

Lea Michelle (Glee): Michele stars in the Fox television series Glee, where she plays the star singer of a high school glee club, Rachel Berry. She was included in Time magazine's 2010 list of the 100 Most Influential People In the World.  FHM named her #7 on 2010 Sexiest Women List, which was the highest ranking for a new entry on the list that year. Michele was named to Victoria’s Secret Sexy List 2010 as having the "Sexiest Smile". Lea was named to People Magazine's Best Dress List of 2010 as "The Newbie". Lea also had her share of controversy when she showed a lot of skin on the cover of GQ Magazine. In December of 2010 she was voted "Most Stylish Star" by E! Online. She was nominated for an Emmy, Golden Globe, and Teen Choice Award in 2010 for her role on “Glee”.

Best Actor

Michael C. Hall (Dexter): Hall continues starring in and co-producing the Showtime hit series Dexter, in which he plays the titular character, a blood-spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department who moonlights as a vigilante serial killer. Michael finally won an award at the Golden Globes in 2010. Also in 2010, he won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. Hall accepted his Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award in 2010 while wearing a knitted cap over his bald head, having lost his red hair to chemotherapy. In April, 2010, doctors announced that Hall was fully cured of cancer and was able to go back to work. On December 4, 2010, Showtime announced that Dexter would be renewed for a sixth season and stated that a seventh season was possible. Season 6 is expected to premiere in September 2011.

Movie Awards

Drama of the Year

The Social Network: While mainly revolving around the invention of Facebook, “The Social Network” really focused in on ideas and feelings that can be universally felt through everyone on the network. Everyone wants to be accepted, and some will do whatever it takes to get that sort of attention."The Social Network" was truly refreshing and ultimately a triumph in all aspects, whether it be considering the acting, script, or directing. It defines the entire social networking generation, and that is one hell of an accomplishment. Everyone can relate to it one way or another, and that makes it one of the must-see pictures of the year.

Comedy of the Year

Get Him to the Greek: Jonah Hill, Russell Brand, and Diddy starred in the No.1 comedy of 2010 in “Get Him to the Greek”.  English rock star Aldous Snow relapses into drugs and booze after a break up and a disastrous record. In L.A., Aaron Green works for a record company stuck in recession. Aaron's boss gives him a career making task - to bring Aldous from London to L.A. for a concert in 72 hours. The movie left audiences dying with laughter with classic terms like “MindF^ck”, “Jeffery”, and “Biggest Loser Time”.

Thriller of the Year

Nightmare on Elm Street: Nightmare on Elm Street was 2010 version of “Men Lie, Women Lie, Numbers Don’t Lie”. The film was met with primarily negative reviews from critics, as well as audience members who scored the film a "C-plus". Regardless, Nightmare on Elm Street broke the record for midnight openings for a horror film, and was able to gross more in its opening weekend than the entire theatrical gross for four other Nightmare on Elm Street films. The film has brought in over $63 million at the domestic box office and over $115 million worldwide. The film also brought us a new and improved Freddie Kruger that was more physiological than ever before. Nightmare on Elm Street introduces many of us to a new plot twist in the saga entitled “micro-naps”. When the characters prolong their time without sleeping they began to experience micro-naps, which is where a character will unknowingly start dreaming while they are still awake. The micro-naps was allowed to blur the lines between reality and the dreamworld giving Kruger the advantage that we never seen before.

Action Film of the Year

Machete: Machete stars Danny Trejo in his first lead role as the title character. The film also stars box office heavyweights  Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Don Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Steven Seagal and Lindsay Lohan. After being betrayed by the organization who hired him, an ex-Federale launches a brutal rampage of revenge against his former boss. Even with the all-star cast, the movie only grossd $26 million in the U.S. Besides the low-gross, Machete did give us a lot of never before seen scenes (Like the woman pulling the shotgun out of her lady parts) and unforgettable moments (Like Lindsay Lohan Topless and in a threesome with her mom).

Animation of the Year

Toy Story 3: Toy Story 3 bridged the gap between the grown-up 90’s kids and the still young 00’s. A tear jerker, Epic thriller, this film introduced terrific new characters and brought us full circle with the ones we already loved. 'Toy Story 3' wasn’t just for kids -- it was for young adults who remembered what it was like seeing Toy Story 1 &2 as kids. The best film of an already great franchise, Toy Story 3 became the first ever animated film in history to make over $1 billion worldwide. It is currently the 5th highest-grossing film worldwide of all time.

Movie of the Year

Inception: Dominick Cobb, along with point man Arthur is on an "extraction" mission within the mind of a powerful Japanese businessman Saito; a form of corporate espionage via dreams. Pain is felt in dreams, while death results in awakening. Cobb carries a "totem", aspinning top which spins endlessly if used in the dream, but topples in the real world. The extraction fails because of Mal (Cobb's dead wife): Cobb's memories of her haunt his dreams and sabotage his missions. Saito reveals that he is in fact auditioning the team to perform the most challenging act of all: "inception" or entering dreams in order to implant an idea. The film grossed over $21 million on its opening day, with an opening weekend gross of $62.7 million. Internationally, It became the third-highest-grossing 2010 release behind Toy Story 3 and Alice in Wonderland and it is currently the 24th highest-grossing film of all-time.

In 2011, He is developing a screenplay, “Goon” with Evan Goldberg. “Goon” co-stars Seann William Scott and fellow Canadian actor, Eugene Levy.
