GIRL YOU AINT NEVER LIED! SOFIA VERGARA SAYS HER BODY LOOKS BETTER WHEN SHE NAKED!

Sofia Vergara embraces her curves. The "Modern Family" actress was once advised by her former stylist to go under the knife to reduce her breasts, but she refused it. "I always joked with her (the publicist), you know, they look better in the dresses but I look better naked!" she told the Daily News. She said the same thing when visiting Katie Couric. "She (my publicist) used to tell me, 'Maybe you should get to a more normal, standard size'," she recalled. "(My mom said), 'God is going to punish you, you can't chop your boobs out. It's crazy. All the women are risking their life to get boobs.' So I didn't do it." "I'm very proud of my body and the way I look. I would be ungrateful to be saying, 'Oh, I'm so mad because people just look at me and see my pretty face. I thank God for what he has given me and I take advantage of it ...'," the fiance of Nick Loeb said on the TV talk show. Of her wardrobe malfunction at 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards, she said, "I wanted to fix it or do something because I had a feeling we were going to win. I didn't want to miss the opportunity to go up there. I mean 'How many times in my life am I going to have?' I've already had three times but who knows how many more times I'm going to be able to experience going up there with my whole cast."

APPLE UNVEILS NEW SMARTPHONE IPHONE 5

Today at Apple's iPhone 5 Event the company finally lifted the lid on its new smartphone. The device is officially called the iPhone 5 (despite being the 6th iPhone from the Cupertino company). The device looks just like the previously leaked image, with a slightly taller screen. Apple is referring to the device as "the most beautiful product we've ever made."

The iPhone 5 is made entirely of glass and aluminum and is the thinnest and lighted iPhone yet - it's 18% thinner and 20% lighter than the iPhone 4S. Apple is calling it "The world's thinnest smartphone."

Display

Like the iPhone 4S, the iPhone 5 features a super high-res "Retina Display" screen with 326 pixels per inch. But the new screen is slightly larger - 4 inches total with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The total screen resolution is an impressive 1136 x 640. It's essentially a taller and more rectangular iPhone 4S.

"This new screen size lets us add a 5th row of app icons. You'll see more of your email in Mail, too."

All of Apple's internal software has been updated to take advantage of the new screen size including Keynote, Pages, Numbers, iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand. App Store apps that haven't been updated display at their same old size with black bars on either side of the screen. Many third party app makers have iPhone 5-ready versions of their apps already prepped. Apple demoed CNN and OpenTable as examples.

The new display has had some changes made to it under-the-hood as well. The touch sensors are now "integrated into the display itself," removing one layer to make touch input sharper and more responsive.

Wireless

Apple also announced that the iPhone 5 will feature "ultrafast" wireless. It features HSPA+, DC-HSDPA, and the long-awaited & long-rumored LTE support. In the United States Apple has LTE support with Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. The company also announced dozens of worldwide carrier partners.

The iPhone 5's WiFi protocol has also been updated & now features 2.4ghz & 5ghz on 802.11n.

A6 Chip

Internally, the iPhone 5 is now sporting a brand-new A6 CPU. Apple promised 2X CPU and 2X graphics performance from the small chip. And it is small - 22% smaller than the A5.

To help show off the new power of the device, the company invited Rob Smith from EA's FireMonkey Studios onto the stage. The company demoed its incredible-looking racer Real Racing 3, featuring rearview mirrors and a variety of other graphically-intense processes.

Battery & Camera

The iPhone 5's battery will allow for 8 hours of continuous talk time, 10 hours of video, 40 hours of music and an impressive 225 hours of standby before requiring a charge.

The new camera features an 8 megapixel sensor & f/2.4 aperture. Apple also included a dynamic low-light mode. The camera is also 40% faster at photo capture.

The iPhone 5's camera features a new panorama photo mode. By stitching multiple photos together, users can create a single huge image thanks to software processing wizardry. A panorama photo of the Golden Gate Bridge was shown as an example, clocking in at a total of 28 megapixels.

The iPhone 5's new FaceTime camera is HD, capturing 1080P video and features improved video stabilization and face recognition.

New Lightning Connector

As expected, Apple announced that the iPhone 5 will not utilize the 30-pin connector all Apple handheld devices have used since 2003. Instead the new phone will feature a new, smaller "lightning" connector. It's reversible, so no more fumbling in the dark to get your device plugged in. It's also 80% smaller.

A 30 pin adapter for the new Lightning iPhone setup will be available for individuals that own cars or other devices currently set up to only work with the old connector.

Price & Availability

The iPhone 5 will be available in both black and white. With a contract, the iPhone 5 will cost $199 for a 16GB device, $299 for 32GB and $399 for 64GB. Preorders begin on September 14th and the phone officially goes on sale on September 21st in most countries. It will hit more territories on September 28th.

SHIA LABEOUF ONCE TOOK ACID TO UNDERSTAND A ROLE!

After recently revealing that he was prepared to have real sex in Lars von Trier’s explicit film “Nymphomaniac,” Shia LaBeouf is now admitting that he took a real acid trip to prepare for a scene in another upcoming film. The “Transformers” star — who is currently on a break from big-budget movies to focus his career on independent film projects — tells USA Today that he used acid on the set of “The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman” to better grasp his character, who gets high on the psychedelic drug. “There’s a way to do an acid trip like ‘Harold & Kumar,’ and there’s a way to be on acid,” LaBeouf said. “What I know of acting, Sean Penn actually strapped up to that [electric] chair in ‘Dead Man Walking.’ These are the guys that I look up to.” In “The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman” — which co-stars Evan Rachel Wood, Rupert Grint, Melissa Leo and Til Schweiger — LaBeouf portrays a young man who falls for a woman who’s claimed by a violent crime boss. Speaking recently about the requirement to have sex for real in “Nymphomaniac,” LaBeouf explained, “It’s going to be a wild movie. There’s a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we’re doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we’ll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening.”

8 PEOPLE WOUNDED AND 2 DEAD IN EMPIRE STATE SHOOTING IN NEW YORK CITY!

Eight people have been wounded, and at least two people are dead, after a shooting outside the Empire State Building in the Midtown area of Manhattan on Friday morning. The shooting occurred at Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street around 9 a.m. ET. The New York Post reported that the incident was the result of a co-worker dispute. The shooter, who was shot by police at the scene, and a bystander are both dead. The shooter followed his coworker down 33rd Street, and shot him outside of Legend's Bar, the Post reported. It is unclear if he fired into a crowd of pedestrians outside of the landmark building, or if pedestrians were caught in crossfire, reported the New York Daily News. Police shot and killed the gunman near the tourist entrance of the Empire State Building. The number of fatalities has not been made official. Mayor Michael Bloomberg has scheduled a press conference for 11 a.m. ET. Police cordoned off a one-block perimeter around the Empire State Building after the shooting. Around 10 a.m., a lone tourist bus headed down Fifth Avenue, and a guide could be heard over the bus's mic explaining they were nearing the landmark. As police waved the bus to detour down 36th Street, the guide was openly mystified. "I don't know what's going on, folks," he said, as the bus turned. By then the bus's passengers were looking up at the sky at a news helicopter floating overhead. Some stood, clutching their cameras. Along 35th street, hundreds of people stood photographing the scene with iPhones and iPads. Officers could be seen standing in the middle of 34th street around a scene surrounded by police tape. Television producers roamed the crowd looking for witnesses. "Was anybody here when this happened? Was anybody here when this happened?" one NBC producer yelled. Eyewitnesses told CNN that the gunman was using a rifle or shotgun. Word of the shooting spread rapidly on social media networks. "On 5th avenue surrounded by helicopters and police," @CeciliaHalling wrote on Twitter. "I'm very glad I wasn't 20 blocks further down half an hour ago." We'll update this story as more details are known.
