EXPLOSIVE VIDEO: LADY ANTEBELLUM-WANTED YOU MORE

Lady Antebellum's new music video has been made available online for viewing pleasure. Made in support of their latest single "Wanted You More", the clip artfully reflects the song's theme about a relationship that is coming to an end. Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood unleash their emotion while performing the ballad with a background of enchanted woods. The scenes are mixed with footage of two models playing a heartbroken couple. The clip gets more dramatic toward the end as it shows a piano set on fire. In a statement, Scott sings praise to Noble Jones who directed the visuals. "Noble did such a great job of capturing the emotion of this song and used some really cool special effects," she says before gushing about the final scene, "The last scene was crazy...the adrenaline was definitely pumping, I knew I had only one chance to get that shot!" "Wanted You More" is the fourth single lifted off the country music group's third studio installment "Own the Night", which has been released since September 13, 2011. Scott and Kelley once said they based the song around a melody that their road band was playing during a sound check.

EXPLOSIVE TRAILER: THE GREAT GATSBY (STARRING LEONARDO DICAPRIO)

Here’s the new trailer to Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, and it won’t seem like the book you read back in high school. Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Carey Mulligan all look really swell in their period outfits from 1922. But we’re pretty sure the socialites back then weren’t rocking out to Kanye West and Jay-Z. That’s who start off the trailer with “No Church in the Wild.” Then the rest is accompanied by Jack White doing an epic version of a U2 song. It still seems that Luhrmann really understands The Great Gatsby as an American tragedy. Other filmmakers have used F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel as a lame excuse to play dress-up.

INTRODUCING RISING STAR: EDAMAMI

Meet EDAMAMI. A new empowering girl group EDAMAMI has surfaced on the Las Vegas music scene. The group has been generating buzz through their first mixtape Last Queens Vol.1 -- featuring their own twist to the famous Drake/The Weekd cover "Crew Love".

With the huge support from Grammy Award winning songwriter/producer Poo Bear and the acclaimed producer MallyMall, the group EDAMAMI is destined to stay in the game. Poo Bear has written and produced hit songs for everyone ranging from Usher, Chris Brown, Jill Scott, Pink, Kelly Rowland, Lupe Fiasco, David Guetta, The Rolling Stones, to Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, just to name a few. He envisioned a girl group that could tell their story, but this time for his own production company, Future Music Inc, formed with partner Jamal “MallyMall” Rashid.

The multi-talented trio features Ashley, a soulful R&B singer; Joy, a hip hop dancer & performer, and Jaz, a native New Yorker with spicy Caribbean vocals. Together the group brings the strong, edgy, sexy, flirtatious vibes that represent the true boss ladies today.

Below I included the official video of their first single "Spend Money", as well as their own version of the "Crew Love" by Drake/The Weeknd.

Emerald City Comic Con News: Michael Avon Oeming's The Victories!

The Emerald City Comic Con has came and passed this weekend, but the news is just starting to hit the internet!

Fans of Powers and the mature super hero genre rejoice, The Victories is coming! From the artist behind Powers, Michael Avon Oeming, The Victories is set to blow some minds this August, courtesy of Dark Horse Comics. Here is the press release:

APRIL 2, SEATTLE, WA–As proclaimed at the Powered by Creators panel at Emerald City Comicon, Dark Horse Comics is set to publish The Victories, a very adult superhero adventure written and drawn by Eisner Award winner Michael Avon Oeming (Powers, Takio, Rapture).

The Victories sucked me in by taking the postmodern ‘mature readers’ superhero story to a brand-new place, which only a serious superhero fan like Mike could deliver, but which will appeal to people like me who thought the genre didn’t have much left to offer,” said editor Scott Allie. “Every few years a book comes along to push superheroes into a new place—Watchmen did it, and Powers did it. The Victories does it in a way that’ll make people uncomfortable. Not for the faint of heart.”

Not long from now, all that will stand between you and evil are the Victories: Six heroes sworn to protect us from crime, corruption, and the dark. As one member cracks down on the violence, he discovers himself touched by a painful past through the physical powers of LINK. Will this trauma cause him to self-destruct or continue the fight?

 Advance praise for The Victories:

“Mike Oeming is one of the great people and comic artists on the planet Earth. I’ve been dying for Mike to write and draw his own book for years. And here it is! If you like Powers, you will love The Victories!”—Brian Michael Bendis
