The former Destiny's Child member herself has confirmed her gig at the annual sports event by posting a picture of her wearing eye black, which football players usually sport to reduce glare when playing in sun or stadium light. The date of the show is written on the two panels. This year's Super Bowl, which was held on February 5, had Madonna as one of the musical performers. She was joined by M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj on stage. The telecast drew an average of 111.3 million viewers, breaking the game's own record as the most watched U.S. TV program in history. Before taking part in Super Bowl XLVII, Beyonce will likely make appearance in the season 9 finale of British "The X Factor".
