Ferris Buller said it best “Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around sometime……you might miss it”. In the here today, gone tomorrow world of entertainment, actors and actresses trend to go under the radar and sneak through the backdoor to superstardom. Kaboom! Magazine has compiled a list of 10 stars from television and movies that you may not know now, but will in 2012. So put your 3-d glasses on and look at who will be coming straight at you this year.

10. Connor Cruise
Connor Cruise is the adopted child of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise but he's about to become a big name in his own right. The 15-year-old is set to appear in the remake of 1980s flick, Red Dawn in 2012, and is forging a career as DJ C-Squared, even playing at red carpet events in LA!

9. Kylie Jenner
Kylie is the next star to shine in the Kardashian/Jenner empire. We loved watching her get into all kinds of craziness in E! “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, but in 2012 Kylie plans to branch out on away from her sister and do her own thing. Kylie with her older sister Kendell have already started their own jewelry line and are preparing to be featured on her own reality show. STEP ASIDE KIM, IT’S KYLIE TIME!

8. Elizabeth Olsen
This girl right here has actually lived under the same roof as Mary Kate and Ashley (Kanye Voice). Olsen dominated 2011 with the psychological thriller “Martha Marcy May Marlene,”. Elizabeth Olsen is gearing up for at least three projects in the New Year, opposite co-stars that include Robert de Niro, Sigourney Weaver, Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener.

7. Tom Hiddleston
If you think he was just a flash in the pan villain that died in Thor in 2011….then you haven’t seen nothing yet. The 30-year-old Hiddleston is set to appear in three films in 2012, including the drama “The Deep Blue Sea” with Rachel Weisz and the blockbuster “The Avengers,” in which he reprises the role of super villain Loki.

6. Peter Vack
The director’s kid from New York has been an indie films regular since he was 9 years-old recently starring in “I Believe in Unicorns”. In 2012, Vack will become douche bag of the year as he stars as Jason in the new MTV hit “I Just Want My Pants Back”. Jason Strider and his friends grapple with dating, sex, and surviving as adults. They care more about hanging with each other, going to bars and hooking up than their entry level jobs, but when a one night stand steals Jason's heart and his pants, he begins a quest to get his beloved jeans back - and hopefully the girl - while growing up along the way, It a show about finding your pants so who can’t relate right?

5. Ali Wong
As a stand-up comic, Ali Wong was selected by the San Francisco Weekly as "The Best Comedian of 2009" and the San Francisco Bay Guardian awarded her "Best of the Bay". Wong has performed on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Breaking In" and E!'s "50 Super Epic TV Moments." In 2012 Ali stars as Olivia, Chelsea's best friend since childhood, who has a healthy love life and dreams beyond Jerry's Ultimate Sports Bar in the NBC comedy "Are You There, Chelsea?" inspired by Chelsea Handler's best-selling books.

4. Andrew Garfield
Garfield made waves with supporting roles in The Social Network and Never Let Me Go, but it's his leading role in 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man that will turn this boy toy into a full-fledge sex symbol/leading man.

3. Taylor Kitsch
Some of you may already know him as Gambit, while many of you know him as the beer drinking, football playing, ladies’ man Tim Riggins from “Friday Night Lights”. Taylor Kitsch is poised to transition from a small screen heartthrob to a full-fledged leading man with a few blockbuster films on tap in 2012, including John Carter, Savages, and Battleship.

2. Kendell Jenner
Kendell announced herself to the world at the “Burlesque” world premiere in 2010 and it was only a sign of things to come. We’ve watched her grow infront of our very eyes for the past couple of years in E! “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, but like her younger sister Kylie, Kendell plans on leading the Kardashian empire into the next century. E! is already preparing a Kardashian spin-off starring Kendell set for 2012, but mostly we will see Jenner as a high-end fashion model. The young beauty has already done her fair share of magazine shoots, and even starred in the campaign for Aussie swimwear brand, White Sands.

1. Katharine McPhee
As an American Idol runner-up, Katherine McPhee isn't a total unknown, but the singer will make the leap into acting in 2012 with NBC's promising new show Smash, a musical drama about Broadway produced by Steven Spielberg. McPhee holds her own against co-stars Debra Messing and Anjelica Huston, and delivers a performance of Christina Aguliera's "Beautiful" in the first episode that will break your heart.

Despite all of the success he's enjoyed during his rookie season in the NFL, we haven't heard a whole hell of a lot from Cam Newton. Part of that is because so many people took shots at him before he even played a single down in the league, so he refused to do many interviews throughout the season. Until now. Recently, he sat down with ESPN The Mag to discuss his success, transitioning to the NFL, and, most notably, his critics. And, in doing so, he took a couple of shots at some of his fellow black quarterbacks who have gone high in the NFL Draft in recent years.
"I can't sit up here and look at it like, oh man, my critics are racist," Newton said. "I blame JaMarcus Russell and, to some degreee, Vince Young. If you have the opportunity to make that kind of money doing something you love to do, why would you screw it up? I'm trying to be a trailblazer. If Baylor's Robert Griffin decides to come out, I want people to say, 'He can be the next Cam Newton,' instead of 'He's gonna be the next JaMarcus Russell.'"
The guy's got a point. There haven't been a ton of black quarterbacks who have been successful in the NFL. And those that have have been overshadowed recently by the shortcomings of Russell, Young, and other high draft picks who never really lived up to their potential.
