NO WAY WE CAN BE FRIENDS! WHITNEY PORT BLAMES FRIEND LAUREN CONRAD FOR HER SHOW THE "THE CITY" BEING CANCELLED!

There seems to be trouble in paradise for former reality gal-pals Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad. According to US Weekly, Port is blaming Conrad for the cancellation of her MTV show, The City -- and the duo's friendship is pretty much over.

"Whitney is upset because she thinks that The City was canceled to make room for Lauren's new reality show," a source told the weekly mag. "Whitney feels like she got the shaft."

In an ironic turn of events, MTV pulled the plug on Conrad's new reality show.  The network, which is home to Jersey Shore and Teen Mom, deemed it too "high brow" for its current lineup.

Things are so bad between the fashionable pair though that Port, who turns 26 on March 4th, skipped Conrad's recent 25th birthday bash at The Roger Room in Los Angeles.

Though Whitney currently has a book out -- she hasn't done much lately in the world of television.  She's currently hosting on online web show titled Genuine Ken -- in which several guys compete to win the title of "The Perfect Boyfriend."
