Ahead of the release of her seventh studio album, Unapologetic, Rihanna releases the video for “Diamonds”. The visual accompaniment to the global chart-topping single takes on the themes of defiance, conflict, desire, overcoming adversity and letting go of fears, utilising beautiful cinematic imagery that alternates between dramatic monochromatic scenes and lush, colorful shots. Much of the video is very symbolic and open to interpretation, meriting more than one view before understanding can be reached.

50 Cent‘s latest video, for the single “Money” off of his mixtape 5 (Murder By Numbers), features him engaged in two familiar activities; counting an absurd amount of money and lounging around in the presence of numerous attractive women. While this production might not be the most big-budget or elaborate of affairs, it certainly gets the point across. Curtis is back to being the bloodthirsty rapper who rose to prominence over a decade ago, focusing on money by any means, and Havoc‘s production is reminiscent of the 50 Cent who first rose to prominence over a decade ago with Get Rich Or Die Tryin. 50′s new album Street King Immortal is still slated to drop in early 2013 through Aftermath/Interscope/Shady Records.

Ke$ha plays a seductive cult leader in her new music video "Die Young". Some scenes in the "TiK ToK" hitmaker's video were PG-13 including the time dancers cavort her body and her writhing on bed wearing only a fur top. "It's about me being a cult leader at the end of the world," Ke$ha told Capital FM. "Everybody else is kind of scared and hiding, and we are running around like wild people, making out with each other and taking over a small border town in Mexico, and the federalis are after us because we're so wild!" The video ends with Ke$ha facing the authorities who have their guns drawn. "Die Young" is the first single from the singer's upcoming album "Warrior", out in the United States December 4. "I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums/Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone," she sings in the song. "So, while you're here in my arms, let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young." Ke$ha is promoting the album in Australia, performing "Die Young" on the country's "The X Factor" version. She is also expected to perform the same song at 2012 American Music Awards which will be held Sunday, November 18.

It was only several hours ago that The Weeknd gave us a 30-second teaser of the music video for one of his most popular tracks, "The Zone," which was originally released on his sophomore project, Thursday, in August 2011. But with anticipation high and his retail debut, Trilogy, in stores next Tuesday, he tweeted that the full thing would be coming tonight. It turns out Abel Tesfaye is a man of his word. In this self-directed video, the 22-year-old crooner is found singing in an ominous warehouse setting with scenes of a blonde female projected on the wall behind him. The dark clips are juxtaposed by bright ones of the lingerie-clad female doing her makeup with a bottle all to herself in a room full of multi-colored balloons, a constant theme in Tesfaye's imagery since House Of Balloons catapulted him into the limelight in March 2011. Drake comes into the frame for his own verse, which is now placed in the middle of the track instead of at the end as it was originally. But when he does, the female's shindig is no longer a glamorous affair. What's the meaning behind it? Look into those eyes deep enough and maybe you'll find out.
