Chris Brown seems to be back on his feet in the music department these days, but the R&B singer is now ready to take the next step and plunge into the world of acting!

However, what's most surprising about this is the first big role Brown has landed -- starring in a romantic comedy!  TheYeah 3x singer will star in Think Like A Man, an adaptation of Steve Harvey's New York Time's best selling advice book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.

Brown's rep has confirmed the news to Us Weekly, and we have to say, he must be a pretty good actor, seeing as his real life is anything but a romantic comedy -- especially when it comes to his relationships!  in 2009 Brown was famously charged with domestic violence after beating up then-girlfriend Rihanna, and more recently, Brown let his angry behavior out once again when he trashed a Good Morning America dressing room.  Will he be able to put this all behind him and play a completely different role in Think Like a Man?!

The point of the advice book (and upcoming movie), published in 2009, is to teach women "what men really think about love, relationships, intimacy and commitment."  Harvey's intent was to help women get a better understanding of the men in their life, so they know how to deal with them in a better way.

While Brown is best known for his bad boy image, maybe he is turning himself around, and this new flick isn't the only indication.  The singer has been spending a lot of time with teen pop star Justin Bieber lately, and while the two already have a song and video together, it looks like they may also be hitting the studio for round two!
